Just Wondering...
1. Did the awe of the Olympics make you completely forget about China's human rights violations?
2. Wasn't it interesting that US media kept concentrating on the general medal count, but ignored the gold medal count?
3. So you just finished with the Olympics then tuned into the DNC, what's next?
4. Is it okay that I love Michelle more than Barack?
5. Are people still serious about potentially voting for McCain?
6. Why didn't you even consider voting for Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente?
7. Am I the only one who thinks Barack Obama is a good speaker as a politician but would not hold my attention for a keynote?
8. Is it okay for me to be proud of Barack's nomination but completely dissatisfied with blind allegiance?
9. Did you think I was just gonna "join in and start a love train?"
10. If a change really did come, what would you be willing to sacrifice?

1. Absolutely not but I think that was the plan.
2. Yes. The United States is very good a framing their inadequacies as strengths.
3. On the timeline? RNC.
4. Yes!!!!
5. Yes.
6. Who said I didn't. Okay I don't I like to vote for people who can't win...note all those Nader voters in '04 who ruined things for Kerry.
7. Probably not the only one but I don't think so.
8. Yes!
9. LOL...um...
10. Depends on what kind of "change" we are talking about...
1. uhhh... no... how about those 7 Americans that as of last week were still being detained for protesting at the olympics...
2. lol... they always do that
3. GREY'S ANATOMY FOOL!!!
4. absolutely Michele Obama '16
5. no
6. WOW why did I not even know about this? I was like Rosa Clemente?! I knew that name sounded familiar... she did a panel here on hip hop and politics a couple months ago
7. whatever his keynote is gonna be great... your a hater lol
8. absolutely!
9. yeah right
10. your the public intellectual... you tell me! LOL (*smile*)
peace.
1.) yeah, that was definately the plan. did that seriously work?
2.) your not just now noticing that americans tend to have a floating definition of winning. (MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!)
3.) i couldnt get CBC's coverage like i did when i was growing up and NBC was trash so i didnt see much of the olympics. I despise flowerey political speeches so ill just keep watching cartoons.
4.) beautiful, intelligent, confident, no prominent features for caricture artists to make fun of over and over. Barrack better keep an eye on that one.
5.) McCain had his chance back in 2000 to win me over. pardon the expression, but i dont want no sloppy seconds after what bush did to him and the rest of us.
6.) the idealistic viewpoints that the green party bring into the national discussion are necessary (though the media doesnt seem to think so...). To expect more than that out of them or a vote out of me is expecting too much.
7.) i still despise flowery political speeches.
8.) i would be so disapointed in you if you were ever satisfied with blind allegiance. yours is to question and challenge, even the people you are proud of.
9.) i expected you to be cautiously optimistic, i mean, the dude is still a politician.
10.) tough one. im in a happy little rut here. Am i willing to give that up to see the things I have professed to work so hard toward come to be? I like to think if its something i TRULY believe in, I would.
